A plea from Peter

Dear Friends,

      I have a big day tomorrow. My flight to Scottsdale AZ leaves at 6 a.m. I have to check in to my hotel by 3 p.m. and get dressed for my appearance at an art gallery that begins only a few hours later. After checking out around midnight after no sleep, I will head to Goat-see, Montana to do an interview in the morning with KULR-TV about the Grog-Blossomers. 

    

      You may be asking yourselves why I put every piece of my heart and soul into this art. Well to put it simply it's because I believe in what we're doing. I am not writing this column to shame any of our fans into giving us money or publicity. However, I am asking all of you for a simple and honest favor.

     

     Occasionally just leave a comment or thought at the bottom of the page, or maybe just tell a friend and spread the good works that the Grog-Blossomers are doing. Sometimes it feels good to know that we can leave our work in the capable hands of our followers. Our work will only spread with your help.

Genesis (The evolution of the artists)

This is a special project by the Grog Blossomer's. Not because of this projects technical achievements or the motifs embedded in this particular piece, but because this is their earliest known work. Its been several years and their audience has seen their art mature and ripen into the complex and stimulating phenomenon we've come to know. But many people have forgotten that even these geniuses once started out with nothing but their dreams, their egos, and a very bohemian lifestyle. It is with great honor to present these photographs to the public.

Bartholomew poses by the door for the preliminary photographs. Some people find the color contrast in this photograph vulgar.

They block the door of the motel to keep fans from breaking in.

   Many audience members left the room at the unveiling of the Ramen fridge citing feelings of nausea. Some experienced hallucinations.

The Singularity Part 2 (Motel six million a.d.)

 Hello again. It's been a long wait I know, but part 2 of the singularity is now public. Thank you for your patience and understanding. The crowd as always, was attentive and gracious. Special thanks to Roy Cunningham & Sons for providing the catering. 

This picture tended to dazzle some of the younger member of the audience
while some of the older guests found it depressing.

                         

                     
                         I think the Chinese food on the table gives this photograph a more vibrant texture.

Getting to the finished product was a journey filled with excitement and terror.

         Another Odyssey into the minds of the Grog Blossomer's. It was
quite the show and I hope to do it again very soon. Check often for more updates in the next few days. I've heard rumors about an exhibit from one of the first shows being posted. It should be a treat, and a chance to see the evolution of the Grog Blossomer's art.

Who are the Grog Blossomers?

A better question:  What is art?

Many use the term broadly, including not only painting, but even film and pop music.

Art can be found anywhere, but its ingredients are exactly as follows:
-A unifying theme
-Retail goods
-A motel room

That is to say, we, the Grog Blossomers, are Art.

     This is our most recent project. Entitled "The Charlottestown Communion"." "The Paul Revere Inn and Tavern", treats its guests extremely well.
